Norma J. Hogg, 85, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013.

She was born July 6, 1927, in Buffalo, N.Y.

Norma was a homemaker, moving to Port Charlotte in 2010 from Buffalo. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Norma is survived by seven sons, Robert (Charlotte) Doerfler, John (Debbie) Doerfler, Thomas (Chris) Doerfler, Dan (Sandy) Doerfler, Donald (Jackie) Hogg, David (Cindy) Hogg and Ronald (Christina) Hogg; sister, Janet Bailey; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul; and husband, Donald Hogg.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 14251 Chancellor Blvd., Port Charlotte. Donations may be made to David Hogg, 17426 Reaper Ave., Port Charlotte, FL 33948, to help with expenses.
