Carmel Rose Cote, 92, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at Tidewell Hospice Inc. of Sarasota, Fla.

She was born July 16, 1920, in Berlin, N.H., to Delphis and Antoinette (nee Roberge) Ramsey.

Carmel moved to Florida from Berlin in 1990.

She is survived by her children, Joanne L. (Donald) Daigle of Dunnellon, Fla., Carol (Raymond) Ward of Port Charlotte, and George V. Cote of Errol, N.H.; brother, Gerard Ramsey of Berlin; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Carmel was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Cote, in 1989.
