Estelle F. Bates, 81, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Consulate Healthcare.

She was born Dec. 3, 1931, in Baltic, Conn., a daughter of Arthur and Alva Chretien.

Estelle is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Richard; children, Richard (Mary) Jr. of Fanning Springs, Fla., Gary of Costa Mesa, Calif., James (Denise) of Port Charlotte, Joann (Mike) of Port Charlotte, and Keith (Chris) of Colonial Beach, Va.; sisters, Theresa and Cecil; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many more loving family and friends.

Services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 1441 Spear St., Port Charlotte.

Arrangements were made in Port Charlotte.
