Marilyn Altman was granted her angel wings Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012.

Her final days were spent surrounded by family. Marilyn touched so many lives throughout her memorable life. She lived a wonderful life full of fun and happiness; those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her beautiful smile, loving and caring way brought so much joy to everyone.

Marilyn is survived by her loving son, Bruce Barlow; two grandsons, Christian and Joshua Barlow; and sister, Joyce Kelly. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Altman.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, Fla.
