NORTH PORT — Snow — and not one, but two snow slides — along with sing alongs, food, candy, bounce houses, Santa himself and more await residents at the annual Poinsettia Parade and Festival Saturday.

The events kick off with the parade at 5 p.m. Beginning at Appomatox Drive, it will progress down North Port Boulevard and then turn down Greenwood Avenue, ending at Dallas White Park. Sixty-four organizations have signed up to walk or have floats in the parade.
