I find it amazingly hypocritical that the Republican Party can condemn teachers unions for fighting to use seniority as the major determining factor in layoffs, but then use seniority themselves as the basis for appointing all of the committee chairman in the House of Representatives. Obviously ability did not matter in these appointments. Guys, you can’t have it both ways. If it is bad for us, how can it be good for you?
