Area pain clinics may face state regulations

VENICE — The Venice version of a pain clinic law hasn’t been in effect one month yet, and already there’s talk of it becoming moot.
That’s just fine by one pain clinic owner, who says the Sarasota County and city of Venice laws are designed to keep new pain clinics out.
