Sun always shines on Greek Festival

PORT CHARLOTTE — Bessie Manos kept looking skyward as rain clouds threatened to disrupt the opening of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Festival.
Downpours on Thursday had kept workers from setting up for the event. This is the 20th year the church has sponsored its biggest fundraiser, and Manos hoped the weather would clear.
