Sullivan Street fascinates, dazzles patrons

Hundreds of people attended the Sullivan Street Arts and Craft fair in downtown Punta Gorda this past weekend. The free, two-day event featured local artists and vendors selling unique items like straw bags, pottery, garden ornaments and handmade soaps, to name a few.

PUNTA GORDA — There’s a method to the madness inside the tent of Cicily’s Aprons and Stuff.

“NFL teams on one side, collegiate on the other,” said owner Cicily Sykes, pointing to hundreds of handmade barbecue aprons, baby bibs and oven mitts on display Sunday afternoon at the Sullivan Street Arts and Craft Fair in downtown Punta Gorda, where she joined dozens of vendors who showcased their creations and wares this weekend.
