The North Port Concert Band and conductor Dennis Silkebakken will present the next concert of the current season, “Music of the Night” on Thursday evening, March 21. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. at the North Port Performing Arts Center, 6400 W. Price Boulevard in North Port.

Close Your Eyes and let the Dream Begin. “Music of the Night” is all about the moon, the stars and beyond. Tenor soloist Dave Downer will perform Frank Sinatra’s famous “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Music of the Night,” from Phantom of the Opera. Concert Pianist and Band Member William Cerny will delight you with Debussy’s beautiful “Clare de Lune.”
