PORT CHARLOTTE — Last year Evan Longoria missed more than three months of the regular season for the Rays, but now that spring training is underway, the 27-year-old said he is ready to go.

During the offseason, Longoria underwent surgery to repair a partially torn left hamstring, and he said he almost immediately felt better.
