Robert Keith “Bob” Daniel, 70, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at his Sarasota County, Fla., residence.
He was born Aug. 5, 1942, in Washington, D.C., to Edward and Phyllis (nee Rogers) Daniel.
Bob has lived in Florida since 1957, coming from Washington, and for the last 18 years, he resided in Englewood. He was an avid reader and enjoyed crime novels and Clint Eastwood movies; a gun hobbyist, he also enjoyed freshwater fishing, and playing chess and cards.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sandra J. Lampp-Daniel; daughter, Shelly L. Babington; brother, Edward (Sharon Ann) Daniel Jr.; grandson, Jake; and loyal and favorite cat, Brownie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Phyllis.
