Samuel J. Sherron

Samuel J. Sherron, 78, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, Fla.

He was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Patton, Pa., to Samuel and Rachel (nee Elms) Sherron.

Samuel served in the U.S. Marine Corps from January 1954 until December 1956. He was a member of Suncoast Worship Center, where he led the Christian Health Ministry, was an usher, a Life Net Pastor, and donated his time to Church activities. Samuel’s hobbies included playing tennis and reading.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Pilar; sons, Robert and Doug Sherron; daughter, Nora Mason; siblings, Tom, Tony, Joyce, Barbara and Carol; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the service time at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at Suncoast Worship Center, 881 S. River Road, Englewood. Interment will be private. You may share a memory and express condolences to the family at www.englewoodfh.com.
