Mary Ann Penttila, 50, of Englewood, Fla., passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2012.

She was born May 12, 1962, in Amherst, Ohio, to Francis and Ella Martin.

Mary Ann moved to the Englewood area 28 years ago, from Amherst, Ohio. She was a professional caregiver for many years, and a member of the V.F.W. Auxilliary of Amherst.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 32 years, William; daughter, Amy Penttila; son, Andrew Penttila both of Englewood; brothers, Robert Wolf of Amherst, James Martin of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, and Joseph Martin of Amherst; sister, Carol Stanziano of Amherst; and grandchildren, Trivium and Ellie Penttila.

A gathering will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, with funeral services to follow at Lemon Bay Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Park, Englewood. You may express your condolences to the family at lemonbayfh.com.
