Students in Alice White’s third-grade class at Vineland Elementary School in Rotonda West created special Valentine greetings for veterans and then assembled their cards into a “Happy Valentine’s Day” banner. The banner was presented to residents at the Douglas T. Jacobson State Veterans Home in Port Charlotte.
