Accident with injuries

A two-vehicle accident at Biggs Street in the westbound lane of McCall Road late Monday afternoon required two medical helicopters, according to a Charlotte County Sheriff's Office deputy who was redirecting traffic at the scene. Traffic east- and westbound was rerouted onto Wilmington Boulevard and Access Road. The accident is under investigation.
