Bulldog Unie Taylor heads to the hoop in the 33-32 loss to Avon Park Jan. 11. Taylor ended up with 7 points for the game, just behind Reggie Jones with 8 and Kari Williams’ 10.
Kari Williams was the leading scorer with 10 points for DeSoto County in their tough 33-32 loss to Avon Park. He describes the Red Devils team as being a mirror image of the Bulldogs.
Williams said, “They play just like us. They’re big and physical and fast and we don’t see anybody else like us during the season. Maybe that’s why we didn’t beat them. This loss hurts real bad.”
