The Arcadia Police Department arrested Jammarius “Mario” Altervon Bing, 23, on Saturday on a charge of petty theft and burglary from an unoccupied vehicle.

APD’s arrest report states that Bing, of the first block of Park Place, Arcadia, was a car detailer who came to DeSoto Memorial Hospital to detail the victim’s car. The victim said when she went out to her car, she noticed between $25 and $50 cash missing from the center console. The report states a security camera showed a man, whom the arresting officer knew to be Bing, enter the car, sit in the driver’s seat and exit shortly after. He then went into the hospital where the victim paid him $60 to detail the vehicle.
