Henry Bevis Browning

Henry “Bevis” Browning, 76, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, in Arcadia, Fla.

Bevis was born March 7, 1937, in Arcadia.

He was an avid rodeo fan. Bevis also enjoyed cooking and barbecues. He was an equipment operator for Orange Co. Bevis was a former member of the Arcadia Moose and Eagles Lodge. He was of the Baptist faith.

Bevis is survived by his daughter, Jeanie (Richard “Randy”) Hedgecock of Martinsville, Va.; three grandchildren, Richard R. Hegdecock, Rebecca L. Puckett and Rachael E. Hedgecock; two great-grandsons, Zaden L. Sparks and Michael Stewart; and great-granddaughter, Kaydence M. Puckett. Bevis also leaves his beloved friend and companion of 43 years, Joan Gunnoe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Lee Browning and Lola Page Browning; and several other family members.
