Lorraine A. Trombley

Lorraine A. Trombley, 82, of Arcadia, Fla., passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, Fla.

She was born March 7, 1930, in Warren, Mich., to James and Clara (nee Brinkmann) Campbell.

Lorraine moved to this area 29 years ago from Lake Orion, Mich. She was a homemaker, and was also a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte.

Lorraine is survived by her loving husband, Walter B. Trombley of Arcadia; sons, Walter B. Trombley III of San Carlos, Fla., and Gerald J. (Jessica) Trombley of Centerville, Va.; brother, Donald Campbell of Romeo, Mich.; sisters, Geralda Kaltz of Rochester, Mich., Cecilia Kaltz of Armada, Mich., Clara Malburg of Ray, Mich., and Rosie Debeaussaert of Romeo; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard G. Trombley.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2013, at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 S.W. County Road 769 (Kings Highway), Lake Suzy, Fla. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 21505 Augusta Ave., Port Charlotte.
