John Robert Hostler

John Robert Hostler, 62, of Arcadia, Fla., passed away peacefully Sunday, Sept. 30, 2012.

He was a longtime Member of the DAV of Arcadia. John was a poet, songwriter, inventor, hunter and treasure hunter. He served in the U.S. Navy.

John is survived by his father, John Howard (Betty) Hostler; son, John Robert (Wendy) Hostler Jr.; daughters, Angelique Brown and April Hostler; grandchildren, Nicolette, Lea, Kaari and Chase; brother, Paul Hostler; sisters, Bonnie Lewis and Sherry Hostler; and many nieces, nephews and friends in both Arcadia and West Palm Beach, Fla.

John’s Going Home Memorial will take place at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, in Lane 5 at the National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, Fla. In lieu of lowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

Arrangements are by All County Funeral and Crematory, Lake Worth.
