Where does one even begin to try to make sense of the horrific slaughter of children and adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School? Or, for that matter, any number of other shootings/bombings we’ve experienced here in America over the past couple of decades?

Just looking at photos of those bright-eyed smiling children killed breaks my heart and infuriates my whole being. I know I am not alone in my thoughts, as so many have expressed their feelings on the news, on the street, and through social media websites.
