Freinds of the Arcadia Airport held a member cook-out March 9 to showcase what the group plans to do, including a specia effort to help introduce teenagers to aviation.l

Al Smoke discusses the features of a light aircraft. One purpose of the event held March 9 was to let people know what the Friends of the Arcadia Airport have to offer. The group has grown to over 115 members in just a few months. They will hold regular fly-in events and support aviation-related projects including their youth group program for kids 13-18.
