ROTONDA WEST — Brisk winds Wednesday stoked a 60- to 70-acre brush fire between Rotonda Circle and Gasparilla Road, prompting evacuations of some homes.
Windy conditions were ripe for other brush fires in Charlotte County Wednesday, including one in the Bermont Road area.
