ARCADIA — Some DeSoto County School Board members made impassioned pleas to reinstate DeSoto County High School principal Shannon Fusco and two assistant principals until an invesitgation is concluded.

Last week, School Superintendent Karyn Gary announced that Fusco and assistant principals Karen Pella and Paul Curtis were reassigned to other administrative positions pending the outcome of an investigation. Gary offered no other explanation for the reassignments, citing the pending investigation.
