The January meeting of the L & E Club was held at the lovely home of Betty Brown. Hostesses for the event were Peggy Roe and Mary Ann Treadwell. Delicious cherry pie was served by the hostesses prior to the program.
The club is studying religious observances this year and the program was presented by the Reverend Jim Wade, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Arcadia. Rev. Wade has years of experience in religious studies and presented the program and an overview of Judaism and Islam religions.
