HOTEL UNDERGOING RENOVATIONS through May 15, 2012. It is with pleasure and excitement that we announce we have begun renovations to transform our property. We apologize for any inconvenience as work will continue throughout the entire hotel until mid-May 2012. Work hours are Mon - Sat, 7:30am - 4:30pm. Water outages will occur occasionally during work hours. In-house guests will be given advance notification. Swimming pool and courtyard are closed until May 15th, 2012. Fitness Centre is closed until May 10, 2012. Lobby, restaurant and bar under renovations from February 06 - May 10, 2012. Please note from Feb 23 - May 10, alternate entrance via 819 Canal Street. The famous sights and sounds of New Orleans are within steps of this historic hotel near the intersection of Bourbon and Canal streets. The hotel was built in 1849 as the DH Holmes department store. It was readapted to become the charming and stylish Chateau Bourbon and reopened in 1995. The hotel retains the buildings original neo-classic architecture and the eras flair for gracious living. It offers a sanctuary of atmosphere and the neighborhoods vibrant energy combine for a memorable stay.
